I have been teaching Race Relations at the college level for many years. Every semester I try and find a different reading that can capture the classe's imagination and offer a new perspective. I have had little success finding this kind of material until now. Ray Studevent's "Black Sheep," goes beyond the typical recognition of what our nation faces in regards to the fair treatment of others. His experiences take readers into a world of understanding that the issues concerning discrimination extend much further than color of skin. It is an exceptional must read that heighten reader's understanding of the hate our country faces.
