Roger Rodriguez is an award-winning author from Houston, Texas. Roger is the recipient of an International Latino Book Award and the Sliver Bookfest Award for The Long Way to Mexico. In 1998, Roger Rodriguez received an Editor’s Choice Award for outstanding poetry and the best paper in psychology at the 5th annual Guillermo Benavidez Academic Conference at Texas A&M International University. In 2008, he was featured on the Discovery Channel for his title The Grass Beneath His Feet: The Charles Victor Thompson Story, which has been translated into German, Italian, and French editions. His first work in non-fiction: Church Pastor, Child Trafficker: The Crimes of Elsa Cuellar in a Border Town is currently being made into a documentary.

Carlos Flores is a native of El Paso, Texas and is the winner of the Chicano/Latino Literary Prize. As director of the Teatro Chicano de Laredo and former director of the South Texas Writing Project, he has long been engaged in the promotion of new writers and writing about the Mexican American experience. He is the author of "Our House on Hueco" and "Sex as a Political Condition."

She is a former collegiate athlete at the University of Incarnate Word, is the founder of Writers Inkubator, and Project Ella which provides educational resources and scholarships to student athletes.
